Let’s see who are the captains in the 31st season of the Premier League

The English Premier League is one of the leading European leagues in terms of competition spirit and fan support. The ongoing 2022–23 English Premier League season is the 31st season since the English First Division changed form to the Premier League. Let’s check who are the captains of the 20 teams participating in the Premier League for the 2022-23 season. At present most of the clubs have English captains, to be clear 8 out of 20 teams are captained by England players.

England players lead Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Southampton and West Ham United. Bournemouth is captained by 23-year-old England defender Lloyd Kelly. 30-year-old England center back Lewis Dunk captains Brighton & Hove Albion and 28-year-old England center back Jamaal Lascelles captains Newcastle United. England midfielders Declan Rice, 23, and James Ward-Prowse, 27, are the captains of West Ham United and Southampton respectively.

29-year-old England center back Harry Maguire is leading Manchester United, a big power in the Premier League, and Nottingham Forest is led by 25-year-old England center back Joe Worrall. Another big team in the Premier League, Liverpool, is led by 32-year-old Jordan Henderson, who is also the captain of the England national team. French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris leads Tottenham Hotspur while Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves captains Wolves.
